  Amazing place, the service was friendly and very helpful. My girlfriend is a severe celiac and the server checked carefully with the chef and then brought her a specially made dish. The buffalo burger was fantastic, everything was delicious, and the chocolate dessert was mind blowing.

  This cozy little restaurant must be Kaslo's best kept secret! We were a large party of twelve from out of town and stumbled upon The Rosewood out of luck. The food was incredible, and the service was fantastic and very accommodating - even though we had such a large group. This was easily the highlight of our short trip to Kaslo!

  The Rosewood Cafe was such a wonderful experience. My boyfriend and I are visiting Kaslo for the week, and being a vegetarian who is also a celiac, who also has about a billion allergies, I didn't have high hopes for enjoying a meal out. We came in, and the decor is elegant, welcoming, and certainly far from ordinary. I loved that it was a character home that had been transformed into a restaurant, I have eaten at comparable locations, but the Rosewood beat it's competition by a considerably high margin. We asked about gluten free and server was not only helpful and accommodating but considerate, sweet and kind. She didn't hesitate in the slightest with my myriad of restrictions and made me feel right at home. My dinner was spectacular (gluten free bread included, which made me do a little happy dance in my chair).. but the dessert was mind blowing. Maybe the best I've ever had? My goodness. Wonderful. Go there. Worth the drive if you're in town. And eat the chocolate pate.. You will not regret it!!
